Friday afternoon was the witness of near Bath-onian road rage. A guy driving an emerald green coloured car almost ran me over as I was crossing the pelican crossing by Boots and Bath CIty Church. He clearly drove through a green light (on my end) and did'nt care about me crossing. In a fit of anger I took a swipe at the back of the car and made a nice "thwack!" doing so.
This would not have been the first incident where I have almost been mowed down by Bath traffic. I never get this problem anywhere in my home digs of Bristol.
I have seen 3 people run over (1 of them killed) in the past year and a half on that road. What pisses me off was the emerald green car guy just held his nose up high and gave a snobby hmph sorta look as I was watching him drive away from the other side of the crossing. Maybe I should have thwacked his car a lot harder.
I am un-trustworthy of the crossings in Bath. I reserve the right kick a dent in any car that tries to endanger me. :P
