Something very weird happened today.
Ken received several odd phone calls which were just someone breathing down the phone. Ok so, they paid for the experience - nobody else cares.
Later Gareth aka Gangster, tried to call. Ken did not answer as he doesn't speak to Gareth anymore.
Gareth left a voice mail which can be summed up in a few words:
"Stop posting crap on my forum or I'll take legal action on you and I will call around at a random time and demand an explanation"
Quite simply, it appears to me that Gareth has been taking legal advice, probably because rumour has it that he's being sued. In doing so, he's decided to make a semi sensible call, though the mystery to me is why he's calling Ken. Here's why:
Ken doesn't post on the forum in question. Neither of us have in fact for months and months - I just posted two posts there to tell HD and Ian D to stop arguing about stuff and bringing Ken into it.
So what interests me is this: Why does Gareth want Ken to stop posting on the forum there when he doesn't?
Can it be the man is slightly confused? Perhaps he is talking about not the forum but the internet in general and referring to the video which has been passed around the UK indy scene the last week involving his character, the Gangster.
First off, why does Gareth think Ken made it? I saw it and it seems to me pretty obvious who made it, besides Ken. I can't believe he can't figure out who actually made it - that's pretty funny.
Secondly, he's told Ken to stay away from him and the forum. Ken never goes on the forum and never goes to any of Gareth's shows, so he's already doing both. So there you go. He should be happy about that, no?
What a confusing thing and how confused they all must be. Seems to me that it's all a storm on the ucw forum between HD and Ian D, and that's ALL it is :)
