This will be the first of many Christmas blogs that I hope to write over the 12 days of Christmas, if I have anything to write about and of interest to say.
Christmas Eve was a rush this year with last minute organising of presents, food, and making the house look nice. Things settled down when it came to attending the late night service at church where I also contributed towards the bible readings. Matthew 2 7-10 was my selected reading and was a bit of a mouthful. A few people commented how I read it like a wrestling promo. The Christmas Eve service at Elim Church is always a good event. Jesus should be well chuffed at all the birthday gatherings in his honour.
George and I spent half the day with her family and the rest at our place. I got some great presents and some chocolate too (which I intend to last till easter). We did our annual picnic spot and enjoyed our presents. A picnic is something we do for tea-time when we have the space left from eating turkey and sprouts.
Whatever you are all doing I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas Day.
Next blog up tomorrow.
