New Years Day is here, the start of the year 2007. (The year of Time Wars if I am not mistaken)
For the first time this holiday season I made Christmas Dinner. This is something I like doing since I’ve now discovered that I can actually cook. I also invited ‘McKay’ Matt Kelly over for food since I cooked a bit extra.
The pilot episode from the Dr Who spin-off with Sarah-Jane was pretty good. Unlike the spirit damaging Torchwood this looks set to be a very good show. The Archetype is an interesting new character to the Dr Who verse. I’ll miss K9 though.
On a random note, I have an indoor birdhouse of all things. My In-laws give me the strangest yet interesting presents. I actually didn’t realise the birdhouse itself was meant to be an indoor model until George read the label from it. By that time I had already hung the birdhouse outside the back garden awaiting visitors. Funnily enough I am still trying to get the bread-crust out before it goes mouldy.
I’ll try and post a pic of this birdhouse tomorrow. It’s pretty cool.
Besides writing these near-daily Christmas Blogs I am pretty much keeping off the computer and taking a break when I can. If I am not posting another blog tomorrow, that’ll probably be a good thing. Take it what way you will.
