I slipped up yesterday and didn¡¦t write a blog. Ah well¡K
I managed to catch the season finale of Torchwood earlier tonight. Whilst I don¡¦t feel comfortable with the shows immoral agenda I was more or less looking for the sights and scenes of Cardiff city where I travel about every other weekend. For a while the episode had a power rangers feel to it when the giant Abadon creature showed up and started rampaging across the cityscape. I have to say that is not actually a good thing. I hope the K9 cartoon will be a corker.
Whilst this series of Christmas blogs was only meant to run for 12 parts, I might as well just add a 13th part to make it season length ļ
The Christmas trimmings are going down soon and that¡¦s always a sad occasion. Packing away the happiness of Christmas ¡V a holiday I feel the world is starting to treat more dis-respectfully every year isn¡¦t my favourite part of Feb¡K I mean January. When the decorations and surroundings are gone, it¡¦s all back to the blank backdrop I get used to as the months go by. Christmas feels like the only time of year when the lights are on and glowing mightily with happiness.
I got to visit my folks in Alveston yesterday. My dog Jack was very pleased to see me come home as always. This dear dog of mine may be Jack Russell size but he¡¦s got a personality and heart like Dino Flintstone.
I took Jack out for a walk for the first time in a year. It was like old times again when we lived in the old family house in Brentry where I grew up. Jack and I would always run and play together and it also kept me fit. Jack will be 9 years old on the 29th. I will have to sort him out with a birthday gift. Watching Jack open a present and tear at the wrapping is a happy experience.
Here¡¦s hoping you all have had a great holiday. Try and keep those trimmings up!
